Об исполнителе:
Cherokee singer and songwriter. He lived on various Indian reservations and in different regions of the U.S. in the 1940s through 1970s. He was born in Missouri, grew up in New Mexico, and eventually lived in Alaska. He co-created a multimedia stage production called Symbolic Americana, which connected Native American values with universal spirituality. For that project, White Hawk's music was paired with paintings by Emilie Rainbow Touraine and performed at various venues in Nebraska from about 1974 until about 1978, including the 1976 Nebraska State Fair. White Hawk released the audio components of that project in two albums, "Black Elk Sings" and "Encore."
