John Barron was an English actor who was best known for his role as C.J. in the sitcom The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin with his catchphrase "I didn't get where I am today by...". His numerous other film and television roles included: Pardon the Expression, The Avengers, All Gas and Gaiters, Romany Jones, Potter, Terry and June, Yes, Minister and Brush Strokes. Born: December 24th 1920, Marylebone, London, England. Died: July 3rd, 2004, Watford, Hertfordshire, England at the age of 83.
