Herbert Ermert

Herbert Ermert (born December 17, 1936) is a German conductor and pianist. Ermert was from 1969 to 2000 conductor of the Philharmonischen Chores Siegen, from 1972 to 1986 director of the Rheinpfälzischen Instrumentalensembles in Mainz, from 1976 to 1990 conductor of choir and orchestra of the Bonner Bachgemeinschaft, from 1986 to 2000 conductor of the Chorgemeinschaft Zanders in Bergisch Gladbach, from 1991 to 1995 director of the municipal music school Siegen. His musical work is characterized by a long-standing collaboration as a conductor with the Südwestfälische Philharmonie, as well as with the Collegium Musicum Siegen.
