Swedish accordionist, born September 4, 1940 in Njutånger parish in Gävleborg county. Karl Erik Svensson started playing the accordion already at the age of eight and is perhaps best known for being Gösta "Snodda's" Nordgren's accordionist. In the 1970s, Karl Erik Svensson accompanied both Arne "Rosen" Qvick and Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren, who then toured and recorded records together. When Arne "Rosen" Qvick stopped touring, Karl Erik Svensson continued the collaboration with Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren. This collaboration continued until February 18, 1981 when Gösta "Snoddas" Nordgren died suddenly. Since 2005, Karl Erik Svensson has been collaborating with singer Torkel Selin.
