Joe Longa

Keyboardist / organist based in the Ocean Beach, California area. Longa died in August 2015 at the age of 62. Longa played with rock, blues and soul bands including The Jacks, Raney-Blue, Powerthud, The Joey Show, and Joey Harris & The Mentals. He backed blues musician Tomcat Courtney and toured with Doug Kershaw and was a studio musician from the 1980s to early 2000s. Longa grew up in upstate New York, where he played Polish music on accordion as a child.
