Glazz

Glazz is a band from Spain that doesn’t hesitate to incorporate the beats and bars of ‘Spanish bulerías’ with the power of rock, ease of funk and the elegance of jazz with musical pieces that evoke the masters of progressive rock but with a distinct personal style. Since 2008 when they released their first album “Let’s Glazz”, they have performed in several festivals and venues all over the world (Japan, Havana Jazz Festival, Manchester Jazz Festival, Amman, Lebanon etc…). This three-piece band from Andalucia surprised us with an unique and high-quality conceptual album entitled “Cirquelectric”. After that, they started a series of three improvised albums entitled “The Jamming Sessions” of which one of them was recognized as the best Spanish fusion-rock album of 2014 by a popular specialized magazine/radio show. The last of this series was recorded during their second Japanese tour in 2015. As professional musicians, they collaborated with flamenco-jazz pianist virtuoso David Dorantes and with songwriter Javier Ruibal as well as many other jazz, flamenco and rock artists.
