Randall Jessee

A native of Shoofly, Missouri, he traveled around the world as a messboy, a steward and a seaman. When he returned he sold mineral water until he started his radio and television career in 1936. He was with WDAF from 1940 until 1959, with a brief time off for a stint with the Coast Guard in World War II. and one with a radio station in Hawaii.
