Pepe Agueros

Pepe Agüeros. Pianist and songwriter, fond of music from an early age, accompanied other great Mexican musicians. Of Mexican origin, born on November 27 in the city of Puebla, Mexico. From an early age he became fond of music. He moved to Mexico City and in 1930, on the occasion of the inauguration of the XEW radio station, he was hired as a pianist for the Hora Azul program; From that moment he became known as Pepe Agüeros. He worked alongside great Mexican musicians such as Gonzalo Curiel and Agustín Lara. He accompanied Dr. Ortiz Tirado, the Garnica-Ascencio trio, Elvira Ríos and Pedro Vargas, with whom he later toured much of South America; Among the theaters in which it was presented was the Teatro América, where he accompanied tenor Pedro Vargas. Author of the Corrido A La Muerte De Lucha Reyes; of the song Déjame En Paz, written with the pseudonym Luciano Miral, and La Pajita, on text by Gabriela Mistral.
