Alessandro Kirschner

Degree in music (contemporary composition) at the Conservatory of Rovigo, he studied with Giorgio Pressato; after graduating in piano and choral music and choral conducting he was devoted to the study of the organ and Gregorian chant with Giovanni Feltrin. He continued his study of choral conducting with renowned international names like Werner Pfaff, Peter Neumann, Gary Graden. He directed the Polyphonic Choir "Mortalisatis" by which was a finalist in 2002 at the First Festival of Choral Veneta, and got the third prize in the polyphony copyright to 41º National Choral Competition "City of Victory" of Vittorio Veneto, also winning the Special Prize for Best Director. With the Choir Mortalisatis has won the 2006 Grand Prix Marcacci. She collaborates with the children's choir of the Conservatory "C. Pollini" of Padua, and publishes his compositions and essays in magazines The Musical Offering and The Briefcase. He is a member of the artistic committee of ASAC.
