Wille Johnsson

Swedish Accordion player and composer. Born in Regna socken, Östergötland 1925, died in Stockholm 1965. He won a Swedish Accordion player championship in 1942. Toured by train in Sweden from 1939 in a trio, playing the Accordion, together with his brother Henrik aka 'Bob-Henrik' on Double-Bass and Gösta Söderlund on Guitar. He is said to have once accompanied the opera tenor Jussi Björling at a performance request by guests at the Grand Hotel in Borås in 1944, where both were staying.
