Об исполнителе:
American radio disc jockey credited with introducing artists such as Chuck Berry, Fats Domino, and Little Richard, to a wider audience. Born August 3, 1913, Hot Springs, Arkansas; died September 21, 1989, Nashville, Tennessee. He attained fame on Nashville radio station WLAC from the 1940s through the 1970s by playing rhythm and blues music. Married to Eleanor Broadwater, who was suspiciously granted a third of the songwriting credit for "Susie Q" (1957) and possibly earlier "See You Soon Baboon" (1955) as a thank-you to Nobles for promoting the songs on his station, a common form of payola at the time.
