Ciara Janson

English actress, born 1987 in England, Best known for her role in Channel 4’s Hollyoaks, Ciara had her first job when she was 18 months old. Coming from a family of actors Ciara often tagged along with her mum to castings and auditions. The gurgling over at 18 months launched Ciara's career as a voice over artist and spurred Hobson's International, an acting agency, to launch a children's division. Ciara became the youngest child to have a regular radio spot in a show named 'Victoria' when she was five years old. Ciara feels most at ease when she is in the voice over booth. Attending Danes Hill School and Epsom College she was keen to develop her career in TV and was thrilled when she landed the role of Nicole in Hollyoaks and became a regular in the soap from 2004 to 2006. After giving many spectacular performances, Ciara was delighted that her character in the show was given an opening for her to return at any point. Since Ciara was back in her native London, she was able to return to voiceover work and was quickly hired for the CBBC series 64 Zoo Lane. Disney was a fan of the young beauty's voice and asked her to voice "Jo" from the Famous Five in their animated series on the Disney Channel. Ciara's work with the popular cult show has taken her all over the world as fans demand she attend Doctor Who conventions. Most recently, Ciara took on the role of Doctor Who's companion Amy in the talking book series.
