The band was founded as Buna Vestire by Iron Mike, in mid 90's. In 1999 the band changed its name to Ssonora after the mexican town and the adjective term. The double SS is from the sound the snakes are making. After three demos, the band changed the name again to Neo, and released one album through Roton label in Romania
