Loretta Darthés

Portuguese-born Argentinian singer and lyricist. Also previously a balancing and trapeze artist in a circus. She was reported to have had an affair with Carlos Gardel (she wrote the song Cariñito Mío for him). also spelled Loretta Dartés. (Lisbon, Portugal, 15 Mar.1902 - Buenos Aires, 5 Apr.1993)
