James Gunaca

James' first exposure to dance music was Josh Wink‘s "Higher State of Consciousness" followed closely by Daft Punk's "Homework" album. Mr. Gunaca got in to the Electronic Dance scene in Dallas in 1999 and began DJing in 2001. A well timed move to San Francisco in 2003 exposed him to a very musically rich culture and enabled him to expand his footprint across the world by playing across San Francisco and then gigs for major events like the Winter Music Conference in Miami as well as at various clubs around the U.S., China, England, and Ireland. James also served as the U.S. lead for online underground house music station: www.myhouseyourhouse.net for nearly 10 years until 2014. Although DJing is his primary musical endeavor, James also spent a few years producing music, managing a single release off of the debut MyHouse-YourHouse LP alongside Zenden, Down in the Basement, and Mike Bremmer.
