American contemporary church composer, pianist and music executive. Born December 17, 1934 in Chicago, Illinois. Died November 12, 2018 in (aged 83) in Waco, Texas. Kaiser studied at the American Conservatory of Music in Chicago and earned two degrees from Northwestern University. He has more than 300 copyrighted songs to his name. He was the Director of Artists and Repertoire for Word Records, Inc. He traveled extensively with Dr. Bob Pierce, president of World Vision, and with Bill Carle, well-known bass singer, who was also a Word Records recording artist. With Word, he arranged, directed, and produced recordings for scores of artists and musical groups. He also conducted orchestra and choir groups with the "Music for America" sacred concerts. For over forty years, Kaiser influenced modern day church music and helped usher in a new era in American Christian music. In November 2001, Kurt was inducted into the Gospel Music Association's Hall of Fame.
