DST (sometimes DubSTa on forums): dj and producer since 2001. Styles: electrobreaks, breaks, glitch-breaks, dubwise dubstep, deep dubstep, 2step garage, filthy dubstep, glitch-hop, bass music. Determining pioneer of the early dubstep years in Hungary, anchor of more radio shows, community builder. He started his musical career in breakbeat at the age of 21 as a member of the Celophane Collective in Szolnok (H). He started producing tunes with a low end PC, but even at this early stage the unique DST sounds were already being formed and could be heard in his first tunes. His unique take on the electrobreaks sound contains twisted experimentality and shows off his love for strange noises, basslines, unusual musical structure and break-necking beats. In January of 2004 he started to play in the weekly radio session "Dawn Tempo" on Hungary's legendary non-commercial (and ex-pirate) radiostation "Tilos" where he played in the first times breaks, 2step garage, electro-breaks and glitchy stuff (glitchy IDM, glitch-hop, glitch-breaks) but from 2005 he played even more and more dubstep (including some grime and breakstep). From 2006 he was one the first hungarian dj playing pure dubstep sets. In February 2006 he started with some other dj's the "Shooby-Dubby Dubstep Session" on WebRadio Torespont, it was all about dubstep. In summer 2006 he set up the first hungarian only-dubstep club night of Budapest (Shooby-Dubby Dubstep Night and Dub Phase) with some friends and started to bring so much as possible great djs and producers for the the hungarian crowd. He was resident dj 2006-2010 with love and passion. He played on many festivals and parties pushing forward the dubstep in Hungary, and the people says his radio-shows and activity played a big role in spreading dubstep in Hungary. 2010-2012 he was resident of the hungarian premium bass event called OTHERSIDE presenting the power of the filthy dubstep genre with the most famous acts on the earth. In 2011 he returned to his old radio on Radio Tilos in Dawn Tempo and after 2 years of spreading the raw filthstep sound, in the end of 2012 to the darker side of bass music, back to his original deep sound. He is still running active the Dawn Tempo Radio Sessions on Radio Tilos presenting still the freshest sound of underground electronic dance music.
