Klaus Maeck

German film producer, journalist and author. * 28 July 1954 in Hamburg, Germany. He founded and run the first local punk shop and record label / distributor Rip Off Records from 1979 to 1983, and co-founded Freibank Music Publishing with Marc Chung. In 1984 the first movie he was involved in, "Decoder", was published. He was also working as manager of Einstürzende Neubauten.
