Bernhard Prammer

Austria classical keyboard instrumentalist Studies in organ and harpsichord at the colleges (universities) of Vienna, Linz and The Hague. Director and founder of the baroque Ensemble Colcanto and guest in various ensembles: Ars Antiqua Austria, Musica Antiqua Salzburg, baroque orchestra "L'Arpa festante Munich" and others. As a teacher for organ and harpsichord, he teaches at the music schools in Freistadt and Gallneukirchen. Works as a speaker at advanced training seminars for music teachers and musicological symposiums. Bernhard Prammer describes himself as a “crea(k)tive cultural worker”. In addition to his artistic work as an organist and harpsichordist, the organization of many cultural projects and concert series takes up a large part of his work. He has been the organist on the Bruckner organ in the Old Cathedral in Linz since autumn 2007, where he initiated the first Linz Bruckner Museum, “Die Brucknerstiege”. In the course of his cultural work, he was awarded the State Culture Medal in 2013. A large number of CD recordings as a soloist or in various chamber music formations are available.
