Tom Kampman

American jazz pop tenor vocalist. Born St. Louis, Missouri. He performed with the St. Louis Municipal Opera Company. He also sang with The Ray Charles Singers for three years before joining The Group. He received his Bachelor of Music from Central College, Fayette, Missouri, and his Master of Music from Indiana University. While singing professionally, he began composing and arranging music for vocal and instrumental ensembles. He was employed as staff composer, arranger, singer and conductor for a production company which specialized in original music for audio-visual programs.
