Therese Karlsson

Finnish singer (soprano) and actor, born January 25, 1972 in Pargas. She has released several records and performed in many contexts. In the fall of 2004, she participated in Bertolt Brecht's Mother Courage at the Swedish Theater in Helsinki (director: Arn-Henrik Blomqvist). In 2005–06, she played the lead role as Elisabeth in Turku City Theatre's production of the musical of the same name. The set became Turku Stadsteater's biggest audience success of all time. Between 2010 and 2012, Therese Karlsson performed the role of Fantine in Les Misérables at Turku Swedish Theatre.
