Owner and Editor of The Iron Planet, a Cleveland-based Heavy Metal Zine active from 1983-1994. The Iron Planet specialized in mixing material from the local Cleveland Metal Underground and international Heavy Metal acts, writing on current events, news, lineup changes, tours, releases, etc (in "Metalmorphosis") doing demo and album reviews (in "Metal Munchies"), doing interviews, writing live concert reviews (in the "Metal Matinee") and posting concert schedules (in "Matinee Memos") and collaborating with guest writers and columnists from around the world (although most are based around the central US). The Iron Planet has featured hundreds of bands during their decade+ long run. Starting on the 3rd issue, every issue since was printed on blue paper, and many of the band photos and logos of underground 80s bands on the internet came from the pages of The Iron Planet, such as Matrixx (5), Final Notice (6), Sabre (9), Violet Wind and many, many more.
