이기찬

Born on February 6, 1979 in Seoul, South Korea Lee Ki Chan is a South Korean singer, actor, producer, lyricist, and composer. He has been active in the entertainment industry since 1996. Ki Chan was still in high school when he was sought out through a musical contest held on one of the local radio stations, that he had won. From there, he undergone vocal training from Han Yong-jin a renowned remix DJ. His debut album "Na Na Na Na Nineteen" sold 220,000 copies in just 3 months. During the production of his third album, Ki Chan began to write his own songs. Throughout the late 90s into the early 2000s, Ki Chan was one of the most recognized singers in the pop ballad charts. In 2004 however, Ki Chan suffered a financial setback due to producing songs that were used with more expensive music engineering. The setback left him to go on a hiatus for three years. In 2006, Ki Chan began his acting career and has since then released two more albums to date. In addition, he has sung songs for Korean dramas. In 2007, Ki Chan was nominated for Best Ballad Performance at the Mnet KM Music Festival (Now called Mnet Asian Music Awards).
