Healy & Cross
Настоящее имя: Healy & Cross
Об исполнителе:
America Vaudevillian singing duo of Eddie Healy and Allan Cross. At some point before 1920 the duo began singing together as "Healy & Cross." They achieved a degree of fame on the Orpheum and Keith Circuits, performing all over the country, and headlining at the Palace Theater and the Loews State Theater. They were together for twelve years as a team. Healy and Cross introduced many classic songs by legendary songwriters, some of which have become standards, including "I'm Sitting on Top of the World, "Mamma Loves Papa (Papa Loves Mamma)," and "Take 'Em to the Door Blues". In the 1930s, Healy retired from show business, settled down, and opened a chop house in Providence. Eddie Healy and Allan Cross together have one songwriting credit "Sweet Mamma of Mine", co-written with songwriters-hall-of-famer Ted Snyder.
