Reichskabarett Berlin

Reichskabarett was the satirical voice of the student movement in Berlin. It was from 1965 to 1971 under the direction of Volker Ludwig and Günter Schäfer and was considered at this time as the most important political cabaret of West Berlin. Their children theater Theater Für Kinder Im Reichskabarett Berlin was the forerunner of the Grips Theater. The venue was located in Ludwigkirchstraße 6 in the district Wilmersdorf.
