Carefree Group is a group from Malaysia and is very popular in the late 1970s. Carefree debut album Kebebasan produced in 1979 . Carefree signed contracts as an international recording artist with EMI . They managed to record three albums namely Kebebasan, Kebebasan II and Kebebasan III. In addition to Jay Jay as the lead vocalist and bassist, the songs in the albums were sung by Wan and Simon. For example, in the album Kebebasan, Wan sang a duet with Simon on Terpesona. Simon also sang solo and a duet with Jay Jay in Kedisco song. Jay Jay also sang solo for the song Rondu Bayangan, Joget Mat Enon. In their second album which is Freedom II, Jay Jay new song Now You're aware, No More Tears, Azie youthful Virgin, Green Shirt And Wishes and Congratulations. Other songs sung by Simon and Wan. Caress the Soul songs using vocal Simon of popular songs as well as songs Jay Jay. Another song is Tomorrow Still, Pen Pal, Close Your Eyes (Dream My face), and Evening Shade friendly Saturday (You Be My Friends). Still Tomorrow song to the movie's theme song tomorrow Still Datuk Jins Shamsudin direction. In their first album, Omar Taib acts as publisher and third album, S. Atan . Carefree third album, Freedom III was published in 1980 which contains songs Useless Regrets, Stop Fitnahmu, Azie Shepherd Boy sung by Jay Jay. Other songs were sung by Wan and Simon as Sinaga Naga, Love Me and Love. Due to having three singers, Carefree song has a different rhythm and swing like Hujan Shepherd Boy, Azie Azie Mak Enon and youthful Virgin. Carefree seed divisions in the group have already started in their third album. It was said when Nana and Lokman out of this group, which eventually led to the album Freedom III without them. Finally, on December 31, 1982, Carefree forced to comply with an official split. Now, after three decades, Carefree finally decided to make a comeback. But they have lost Jay Jay and they have chosen Hadi Hassan, brother of the famous veteran artist Salamiah Hassan as the new vocalist. The group cheering fans and media representatives in attendance with several hit songs and Retro Kingdom.
