Nancy Knox

Nancy became Chantilly in 2008. This is how the story begins. Coimbra as birthplace. With the right consistency, she develops melodies for songs presented to her by her friends. She becomes, in the same year, the lead singer for Amazing Flying Pony and quickly started performing live in 2009. The regular rehearsals and concerts matured the will to dedicate herself to music as a regular activity. In the meantime, as Pony, she dedicates herself to DJing, both with the duo Sonny and Chantilly (with Pedro Correia) and solo, as Chantilly. In 2012, she created the project Marigold, a field of sunflowers in a pop dream. Already in Lisbon, in 2013, she moulds herself into a trio with the project Marla. Nowadays, after ten years of creation and maturation, she is Knox. Music as a premise, always latent, cathartic, resilient. In the end, it was always about Nancy.
