Stuart Gasston

Singer from Sooth Shields, England who is partner of Nancy Hogg, Perrie Edwards's Grandmother. The first thing he ever did,at 17, apart from shows at the Pier Pavilion, was when he was seen by Tony Martell, who offered him a spot on Golden Disc, which was a talent show from Tyne Tees Television. It was the launchpad for Stuart’s career, which saw him rub shoulders with the likes of Lulu and Gracie Fields. Eventually, he was picked up by the Bailey organisation, which had The Latino nightclub, in South Shields. They had the biggest chain of nightclubs in the country. They took him on, became his management, and he did all their circuit. H worked with a lot of people such as Eartha Kitt and Val Doonican, they had a very similar style. Following his success on the nightclub circuit in this country, Stuart started doing shows all over the world. Then he got involved with the cruise ships. The cabaret scene had died off a little, and he was offered work on the QE 2.
