Hosoo is a singer of traditional Mongolian songs from province of Chandman Sum in Khovd, western Mongolia. His singing technique is called Khoomi, a form of guttural overtone singing which he learned from his family starting at age seven. He has both solo albums and releases with the dance and singing group TransMongolia.
