Об исполнителе:
He was born on April 18 in Mexico City, son of Homero Aguilar Cabrera and Ma. Elena Sánchez Reyes, and is the fifth of seven children. With the influence of his father, the renowned composer Homero Aguilar, the destiny of Toby could not be other than music, and since he studied elementary school he had that concern, even though his father did not approve. From then on, little Victor also began to show his ability to write verses and to play the guitar lyrically. At the beginning of high school Víctor Manuel expressed to Don Homero his decision to study music, and at his insistence, he had no choice but to accept, especially since Toby got a scholarship to study at the Superior School of Fine Arts Music, in which he specialized in percussion. His first foray into the musical medium occurred when his father, seeing that Toby was going to devote himself definitively to music, recommended it with a friend, Ramiro Leija, also a composer, who needed a bass player for his group, a fact that Víctor considers transcendental in his life. He was just 18 years old. With this group Toby remained two years, in which he toured the Mexican Republic and the United States. Later he joined, also as a bass player, Los Broncos de Reynosa, and on some occasions, as a pigeon, he played with international groups such as Los Bríos and Los Pasteles Verdes. Among other interpreters of Toby Sánchez's songs are: Graciela Beltrán, Enrique Guzmán, Lupillo Rivera, Felipe Arriaga, Lorenzo De Monteclaro, Gerardo Reyes, Ramón Ayala, Conjunto Africa, Liberación, Los Humildes, La Mafia and Tiberio Y Sus Gatos Negros.
