Dave Kurtz has been passionate about music his whole life. He studied music at Fullerton College and earned a degree. One of his many talented teachers was Grammy Award winning guitarist, Joe Jewell. Dave Kurtz has also recorded for famed Producer/Engineer Michael Vail Blum, who has recorded for artists like Madonna and Pink Floyd. Since then, he has been involved in many musical settings of all genres ranging from Jazz, Classic Rock, Classical, Blues, Funk, Reggae, Pop, R&B/Soul, and Country. He has performed across the United States and Entertainment facilities from Concert Halls, Casinos, Festivals, Restaurants, Hotels, and Weddings. He has been teaching music for 9 years and 6 years at Yamaha Music Academy. Dave Kurtz proudly endorses John Pearse Strings. Recently, he has published a book through Hal Leonard titled, "Acoustic Guitar Christmas," with personal arrangements and original compositions for the solo guitar.
