MUTEFISH are culturally diverse six piece band from Ireland, Poland, Lithuania and Ukraine. In it’s current guise the band has been performing together since 2009 having been a three piece prior to that. They fuse the musical sounds and cultures of Eastern Europe with traditional Irish influences resulting in an engaging melodic compilation of tracks. Each band member brings their distinct musical backgrounds and tastes giving them their unique sound which makes it difficult to label their style or genre. Mutefish are: Bo (Poland) guitar/mandolin, Marka (Lithuania) cajon/guitar, Daithi (Ireland) flute/tin whistle, Tomas (Lithuania) bass, Peter (Ukraine) percusions/melodica and Philip (Ireland) drums.
