João Paulo Sousa (b.1976) is a Portuguese traditional folklore vocalist and multi-instrumentalist from Beja. He was the drummer for the Portuguese folklore group Trigo Limpo, from 1994 until 1996, in 1999 joined Adiafa, a group in which he still performs to this day, in 2008 formed the group Modas à Campaniça, two years later co-founds Baile Popular and the duo Os Campaniços, where he performs as Amílcar Alhinho, in 2013 he released his first solo album "Ananin Ananão". He has also been a guest on records by artists and groups such as Cabeças No Ar, Vozes D’Alqueva, Jorge Vadio and Gaiteiros de Lisboa.
