Festina Lente (4)

The Festina Lente Chamber (Italy) choir sets as its primary goal the rediscovery of unpublished compositions form the Renaissance and Baroque Periods. The choir has collaborated with orchestras and with private and public institutions. In 1997 it recorded its first CD dedicated to a Mass for two choirs by Francisco Bianciardi for Fonit Cetra. With Dynamic, Festina Lente is collaborating in a project to record unpublished 16th & 17th century Roman repertoire for more than one choir. It is currently (1999) working on the recording of a double CD dedicated to two masses by Palestrina for two eight-voice choir. Michele Gasbarro is the founder and conductor of the choir.
