Об исполнителе:
Saint Jude's Day formed in 1996 when John Mulhouse, drummer for Bombsite and the Kung Fools, and Kris Anderson, bassist of The Strike (2), began playing after their respective bands broke up. Zak Boerger joined on guitar and vocals and the trio started writing and practicing in earnest. This full-band version of Saint Jude's Day proved to be short-lived, however, when Kris left to pursue other endeavors. Zak and John continued, rehearsing a variety of originals, as well as covers by Gang of Four, the Rolling Stones, and The Who. After unsuccessful attempts to find a full-time bassist or second guitarist, it was decided in late 1997 to disband Saint Jude's Day after recording the completed originals. For the recording, Mark Wilcox of Destroy!, Impetus Inter, and No Statik, amongst others, played bass. In 2004, Saint Jude's Day reconvened to record new material and play two shows. For this recording, in addition to Zak and John, Scott Cook of Porcelain Boys, Bombsite, and The Ronnie Buxtons played bass. Zak would go on to play in psyche-folk project These Wonderful Evils.
