Chiara Giovando

Chiara Giovando (AKA Power Animal and Fatty McFatty) is a Philadelphia-based improvisor and composer who uses violin, voice, and electronics. She has collaborated with Carly Ptak, James Twig Harper, Jenny Gräf Sheppard, John Berndt, and many others. Giovando has toured the United States twice performing in bands, and has composed and designed sound installations internationally. She was performed her solo music in Germany, Italy, Taiwan, and Mexico, and has created installations in Taipei, Taiwan at Tsu Wei Studios, in Santa Fe, New Mexico at Plan B, and at the San Francisco Art Institute.
