Chuck Siler

Charles E. "Chuck" Siler is an artist and writer from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, who lived on the West Coast and held/holds friendships with many jazz musicians, notably Gene Russell who founded Black Jazz Records. and bassist Henry Franklin among many others. He has been a curator at the Louisiana State Museum, and his editorial cartoons have been published in multiple publications, including Louisiana Weekly. He currently lives in Houston, Texas.
