Sean McCarthy

American bassist and tour manager in Austin, Texas. McCarthy played bass in Mojo Nixon’s backing band The Toadliquors from 1990 to 1992 and the rock band Ugly Americans from 1992 to 1996. Since then, he has worked as a production manager for various live entertainment events and venues (La Zona Rosa. Antone’s, The Backyard, Austin Music Hall) and a tour manager for Macstar Productions. Acts he has worked with as a tour manager include Jimmy Vaughan, Dwight Yoakam, Lucinda Williams, Butthole Surfers, Slayer, Brandi Carlile, Gavin DeGraw, Guy Sebastian, Jesse Baylin and Sundance Head.
