Pelle Krøgholt (b. 26 May 1975) is a Danish producer, event organizer, and electroacoustic composer who, in the early 2000s, has been actively promoting and popularizing experimental electronic music in Denmark and across Europe. In February 2000, Krøgholt launched DATANOM web portal in collaboration with Jakob Boeskov. The website hosted Krøgholt's DataMusik netlabel, which he described as an "autonomous media operator" or "online project room for new electronic music." Datamusik released twenty digital "editions" between 2001 and 2003 — collections of 3-4 tracks from different artists, available for free streaming or paid MP3 downloads. Krøgholt extensively collaborated with Danish/Faroese experimental musician Kristian Vester, better known as Mainpal Inv. (around that period) and generally as Goodiepal. He hosted an "Autonomous Mainpal Inv. DataProvider" at Datanom, a dedicated website for "Mainpal Inv. / Goodiepal codes, references and action" in 2001-02. Pelle also partnered with Chicks On Speed, performing vocals for their quirky "[a242415] cover band" side-project in 2000, . As a promoter, Pelle Krøgholt hosted numerous events in Copenhagen, most notably the xart hybrid project room at an abandoned soybean oil factory at Copenhagen's harbor, which lasted from November 1998 to June 1999 and featured a series of gigs, installations and artistic collaborations. Krøgholt also organized a 3-day "gør det selv:datamusik" DIY festival in January 2002 and Bar Elektrisk concert series in May 2003, featuring Goodiepal and V/Vm, among others. An in-depth essay about Datamusik and Krøgholt's activities came out in DMT magazine (Vol 76 (2001-2002), No. 04), written by Torben Sangild. In turn, DATANOM published Sangild's booklet "The Aesthetics of Noise," edited by Pelle Krøgholt.
