Since releasing his debut album Take Flight—a reggae jazz instrumental compilation of originals and popular covers—Jaime Hinckson has taken the music scene by storm with his classical technique and unique improvisational approach. Weaving seamlessly between styles, Jaime hooked us with his 2020 sophomore album, Take Time, a classic hip hop jazz experience revered by lo-fi enthusiasts and audiophiles alike. His musical signature can be heard across the globe on a variety of alluring collaborations, no matter the genre. Raising the bar in 2022, the Miami-based artist released his latest project, Fresh Produce, in tandem with an assortment of international remixes that has kept listeners buzzing over the launch of his new label, Miss Mac Music. Aside from his work in the studio, Hinckson travels the world as keyboardist and musical director for Julian Marley’s band “The Uprising.” He can also be seen jamming on stage with notable artists like The Wailers, Hollie Cook, Jesse Royal, and The Wailing Souls, to name a few.
