Peter Bamm

PETER BAMM, German writer, born in 1897. He attended the humanistic high school in Bautzen from 1906 to 1914 and was already a war volunteer at the age of 16. As a lieutenant in the Royal Saxon Life Grenadier Regiment, he was then knight of the Military Order of St. Henry. After studying medicine, he sailed as a ship's doctor to East Asia, South America, the West Indies and West Africa and spent a few years in Paris and London. He stayed in China for another year. Then Dr. med. Curt Emmrich, specialist in surgery in Berlin.
