Thomas Wulfe

As part of the waxcide collective, Thomas Wulfe Is the alias unsed for his Ambient, IDM, Chillout, Electronica, Breakbeat, Trip-Hop and more for near 25 years. Influenced by artists such as Orbital, Underworld and Richard D. James, he makes use of both hardware and software synthesisers, sampling, computers and especially (analogue) modular synths. Much of the music is originally derived from modular synths before being post processed, sampled, manipualated and further sequenced and arranged in ableton live, or , more recently Reaper for 7.1 surround sound projects. early works were produced using cubase 3.1 and then cubase 5 as a daw but not many of those are published or released in any form. Over the years a variety of hardwrae has been used from roland, korg electribe and quasimidi grooveboxes, yamaha su series and roland sp808 samplers, yamaha motif 6 and access virus ti polar synthesisers to a variety of modular synthesisers including variously analogue systems, bugbrand, cwejman, doepfer, multiple eurorack brand frankenstein systems, elby euroserge and others - for full details see the equipboard page in the allmylinks on the weblinks list below.
