Norbert Gingold

Austrian composer and conductor; Kurt Weill's disciple, he left the Nazi regime in 1933 for Paris, then the USA. In a first time New-York and finally San Francisco in 1952 where he run the Children's Opera until ill health forced Dr. Gingold to close it in 1994. .
