Munir Niazi

Hindustani poet who wrote in both Urdu and Punjabi languages using his pen-name "Munir. He was born in Distt. Hoshiyarpur, India (9 Apr 1923) and then migrated to Pakistan after the Indian partition. He also wrote song lyrics for Bollywood and Pakistani films, he died on 26 Dec 2006.
