(March 16, 1929 - November 6, 2022) American traditional pop and cabaret singer who reached her career peak in the 1950s. Began singing with her family on broadcasts from 1938 to 1951, and Betty began solo work on the station as well beginning in 1943. She charted 10 times, including "I Dreamed", which rose to #9 on the U.S. charts in 1956 (written by Charles Grean & Marvin Moore). She had frequent appearances on radio's "Breakfast Club" and TV's "Tonight Show". She was married to Charles Grean and is mother of Lydia Gray and Elisabeth Gray.
