Bob Pfeifer

Bob Pfeifer had a short-lived career as a musician, but is most known for his roles within the record industry and his legal issues. He started in A&R at Epic and was reportedly instrumental in bringing Alice Cooper (2) to the label. He later became the president of Disney's Hollywood Records, where a woman filed against him for sexual harassment in 1995, and simultaneously held a position at the video game company Z-Axis. He moved on to head the Internet music consultation company Segnana Inc., which collaborated with Metallica. He was later charged with ordering private eye Anthony Pellicano to wiretap his ex-girlfriend in 2000, pleading guilty to the felony in 2008. In the summer of 2012 his son, Jerry, was kidnapped by his Slovakian mother and Pfeifer's ex-wife, Maya Misejova Pfeifer. She fled to Europe with Jerry and his half brother, Sasha Hummel, both American nationals. The boys were returned in late 2013. Not to be confused with Rob Pfeifer, a musician/producer who works with his brother Jeff OR Rob Pfeiffer the rock/hardcore drummer.
