Doris Provencal

b. 31 January 1928, St. Hyacinthe, Quebec, Canada d. 6 May 2011, Christ Church, Barbados Soprano, conductor, educator. Relocated to Barbados in 1952. Founder of The Cecilian Singers and pioneer in radio broadcasting. Awarded Silver Crown of Merit (Barbados) and Andres Bello Medal (Venezuela.)
