Swedish Mezzo-Soprano vocalist, born in August 28, 1963. She has got a master exam at the solo vocalist program at the Music Academy in Gothenburg, Singing Diploma, Oren Brown Voice Seminar, singing lessons for Anna Moffo in New York. She has also studied choral pedagogy at the Academy of Music, University of Gothenburg with Professor Gunnar Eriksson (2) as teacher. Maria has appeared in a number of Swedish television programs. To name a few: “Go’morron Sverige”, “Ad lib”, "Nattkafé", "Bingolotto" and “På spåret”. She received the Society Ebba Lindqvist Friends' scholarship in 2000 "for her, for several years, committed musical performances by Ebba Lindqvist's poetry - often with music by Vivan Myhrvold-Lassen".
