Exxos Metkakola

exXÒs mètKakOla is a pioneering French Antillean hip-hop activist, rapper, producer and songwriter from Pointe-à-Pitre city in the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies, performing lyrics in French and Guadeloupean Creole. He is inseparable from the concept of 'Kako Music' which started around 2003 a year after his classic debut "Woch - Goumé A Vyé Nèg". Kako Music is the fusion of traditional creole music from the French Antilles (i.e. Guadeloupe, Martinque...) with contemporary urban music. Together with dOOb 6, his long time DJ and friend they form the electronic music group KakOLabO.
