The BIND

"Between 1988 to 1992 in Toowoomba and Brisbane, i spent time researching other cultures and their music - ancient and modern - and became interested in the Norse tradition of combining the geometric shapes of the runes in their alphabet into 'rune-binds'. Each character contained further meaning and when put together in this way, the positive aspects of each rune were supposed to amplify each other geomantically. After thoughtful meditation, a symbol which could be found all of the runes. This led to the naming of the musical inspiration and artistry known as The BIND. Initiated as a way to further explore synthesis and engineering techniques, The BIND began with ambient tracks for meditation and healing but after gaining private sponsorship, an agreement was made to create 2 albums of EDM.
